Reach for the sun
Come and have a wonderful time with Zita Warmke learning how to make this fun quilt. This class will be held Saturdays, July 23 and 30th from 10 am to 3 pm. Zita asks that you have your fabric cut before class. Reach for the Sun is a pattern designed for the confident beginner so you will need to know how to work your sewing machine, use a rotary cutter, and sew a 1/4" seam.
Supplies needed
- Sewing machine in good working order
- Basic sewing supplies (thread, scissors, pins, etc.)
- Reach for the Sun pattern (available at Sew Always)
- Templar template (available at Sew Always)
Fabric Requirements
Zita asks that you have your fabric cut BEFORE class
- Back ground 3 3/4 yd
- 4 watercolor wash prints for flowers 1 fat quarter each
- 8 floral prints for flowers 1 fat quarter each
- 4 green/aqua prints for leaves 1/8 yd each
- 1 green print for stems leaves and binding 1 1/4 yd
