Hearts at Home Block
Come and let Zita Warmke teach you how to make a log cabin block using jelly rolls! This classic block is used in a wide variety of quilt patterns and has many variations. This is a great technique to add to your quilting repertoire.
Please bring to class:
- Sewing machine in good working order
- Basic sewing supplies (pins, thread, scissors etc.)
- Rotary cutter
- Your favorite quilting ruler
Fabric Requirements:
This list of fabrics is for the entire 69" X 69" quilt, if you desire you can bring only the fabric you will need for a single block to class
- 2 Jelly Rolls
- 1 1/2 yds background
- 3/8 yd heart centers
- 3/4 yd sashing
- 4 1/4 yds backing
- 5/8 yd binding
