Cathedral Window Pillow
Come and learn this beautiful technique from a fabulous teacher. Fiona asks that students in this class are familiar with the operation of their sewing machine before class. If you wish you can bring an extra 2 1/2 in squares of fabric for the window fillers if you want to play with color placement. Come and have a great time with wonderful people.
Supply List:
- (9) -10 " squares of the background color ( white is in the sample picture)
- (18 -20) - 2 1/2 inch squares to fill the windows ( cut 6 squares in half diagonally)
- (2)- 12"X 14" rectangle for the pillow backing
- (1) - 13" x 13" pillow form ( or make your own)
- Basic sewing supplies (thread to match background fabric, scissors, pins, seam ripper)
- Sewing machine in good working order and capable of zigzag stitch
- Fabric Glue (available at Sew Always)
- Stiletto, or Purple Thang (a tool for turning out corners available at Sew Always)
- Small iron and ironing mat (recommended but not required)
