Introduction to Paper Piecing
Zita will be teaching the basics of paper piecing. A technique that has been around for 100 years and allows you to use a paper pattern to replicate a picture perfectly. This technique will allow you to use your sewing machine and scraps to complete a simple but elegant block. Sign up today and have a fabulous time learning with wonderful people.
Supplies needed:
- A sewing machine in good working order
- basic sewing supplies (scissors, thread, pins, etc.)
- rotary cutter
- add a quarter ruler (12 in is recommended available at Sew Always)
- foundation paper (available at Sew Always)
Fabric requirement
- approximately a 1/4 yard of scraps in 5 colors
