Beginner's Table Runner
Come and have a fabulous time learning important quilting techniques including cutting, piecing with a 1/4 seam, quilting and binding. This table runner is a great way to start your quilting journey. This class is open to all ages but anyone under 12 years will need an adult to stay with them for the class. Classes will be Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm May 23, June 6 and 27 and August 11.
You will need to bring:
- Sewing machine in good working order
- rotary cutter
- Your favorite ruler
- thread in gray, white or cream
- basic sewing supplies (pins, scissors, pencil etc.)
- Snowball table runner pattern (available at Sew Always)
- 1/3 yard background (red in pattern)
- 1/4 yard nine patch (blue in pattern)
- 1/4 yard snow ball
- 1/3 yard border
- 1/4 yard binding
- 5/8 yard backing
