Hitchhiker's Star
Hitchhiker's Star is a class for a confident beginner. Nancy ask that you be able to use a rotary cutter and sew a 1/4 " seam. Each quilt uses 42 equal sized squares ranging from 4 " (doll quilt) to 12 " (queen sized) plus 1 contrasting background fabric.
Supplies needed:
- Sewing machine in good working order
- 1/4 foot for machine if possible
- Basic sewing supplies (seam ripper, pins, scissors, thread)
- rotary cutter with sharp blade
- Square up tool for your quilt's block size (see chart on top of page 5 in your pattern) **OPTIONAL**
- Hitchikers' Star pattern (available at Sew Always)
Fabric Requirements:
- 42 squares of the size for your chosen quilt
- background fabric for the size of your chosen quilt
