Summer Camp: Love Bug
Come and have a wonderful Thursday afternoon making Moda's Love Bug. This class will provide the pattern fabric, buttons, and fill Each pair will complete 1 bug. Class will cover using a template, sewing buttons, choosing colors and trim, and creating a stuffed animal (or insect in this case). We ask that the parent portion of the pair be at least 18 years old and the me portion be at least eight years old.
Supplies needed:
- sewing machine (in working order and one of the pair needs to know basic use and how to thread and wind a bobbin)
- thread
- flat head pins
- ink pen
- scissor capable of cutting multiple layers of fabric
- ruler (12 in school rulers are great)
- hand sewing needle
Fabric requirements (if providing your own)
- 5 fat quarters
- 1 bag poly fill or other stuffing
- 1 yard ric rac or ribbon for feet
- 2 buttons for eyes
